The Monday after vacation has got to be the worst Monday of the year.
So many emails.
So many messages.
So much paperwork.
So much to do.
So little time before school begins.
So many days until the next vacation.
And most importantly in today’s world… I’m thankful to have a job I can return to after vacationing from it.

Yes, but when Monday is done you are 1/5 the way done w/the work week, or even more if you consider that Monday is really 3 days rolled in one, so that would mean it would be about 1/3 of the way done with the week. Can you tell I’m going to teach Science and not math?
Please remind me of these sunny thoughts when I start student teaching on the 16th… :0

My principal scheduled our first meeting on Monday at 7:30 am!!! It’s immoral, at the least, unconstitutional!
It seems that I finally start sleeping in till 9 am two weeks before school starts only to be brutally shocked into 7 freakin’ 30 on the first day back…
